So, by now you're probably wondering, "Who is this 'Michael R. Mueller' guy, anyway?  And why did he put up this site?"

Well, I guess you already know my name, Michael Mueller.  I'm 16 years old and live in North Carolina.  I wrote this page for two reasons: 1) I'm in a program currently that deals with website design, and 2) I wanted to become a member of the the vast World Wide Web, and to have a place to expound my thoughts on certain issues.

I attend Grimsley High School, where I am an avid member of Grimsley's Academic Teams and Science Olympiad Team.  I find these competitions a lot of fun and a good way to get rid of stress at the end of the school day.

But my interests are not just limited to school.  I also enjoy playing instruments (piano and violin), traveling to different places, watching just about every imaginable sport on television, investing in the stock market, and (you guessed it) fooling around with computers.

My favorite sports teams include Duke, Stanford, Wisconsin, and Kansas State (college sports).  Someday I hope to actually attend Stanford, actually.  In professional sports, I like the Green Bay Packers (football), Milwaukee Bucks (basketball), Milwaukee Brewers (baseball), and Borussia Mönchengladbach (German soccer).  Although I enjoy watching sports, I'm unfortunately not too good at playing them!!!

I also enjoy music and different cultures.  I can German, French, and a little bit of Spanish, and enjoy traveling to countries in Europe whenever I can.  I'll listen to just about every kind of music (except Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, etc., but their "music" doesn't really count), although on the piano I mostly play classical music, preferably by Rachmaninov, Gershwin, and 
Chopin.
